Art Friedman, Director
Art Friedman has served as Owner/Principal of Triple J Management Services which specializes in consulting and professional services for the alcoholic beverage industry. Art was most recently President and CEO of Gold Coast Beverage Distributors, a position he held for the last 10 years of his 23 years with the company. During his tenure as President/CEO, Gold Coast more than tripled sales revenue and increased EBITDA by more than five-fold. Over the same period, Mr. Friedman led significant market share gains through organic growth as well as consolidating wholesaler acquisitions. Mr. Friedman began his career with General Foods Corporation, now part of Kraft Foods. He has served on the distributor advisory councils of Diageo-Guiness, Heineken USA, InBev and Miller-Coors. Mr. Friedman graduation Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Florida, Warrington School of Business.
Alex McLaren, Director
Alex McLaren, MD, serves as the Program Director for the Banner Orthopedic Residency Program. After graduating from Queen’s University School of Medicine, Kingston, Ontario, Canada in 1977, Dr. McLaren completed an orthopedic residency at the University of Western Ontario in 1982 and a fellowship at the University of Southern California in 1983. Dr. McLaren is first and foremost an orthopedic educator and researcher whose career has included teaching, research and administration of educational programs. His clinical interest include orthopedic infections, revision arthroplasty and complex musculoskeletal trauma. With hundreds of publications, numerous grand-funded projects, and medical association postings, Dr. McLaren has established a prized reputation in his field.
Bryan McLaren, Director
Mr. McLaren has a strong professional background in the social, economic, and environmental development of complex business organizations. For more than a decade he has worked to implement programs for corporate and community organizations. McLaren holds a Bachelors of Business Administration and Ethical Studies from the University of San Diego, a Masters of Sustainable Development from Northern Arizona University, and an Executive Masters in Business Leadership from Arizona State University. Prior to his hire at Zoned Property, McLaren worked as a Sustainability Consultant for Waste Management where he led the strategic development and operational implementation of programs for Higher Education. McLaren has also worked as a Manager in the Higher Education industry and has been appointed as a City Sustainability Commissioner.
Irvin Rosenfeld, Director
Mr. Rosenfeld has over 28 years of experience in the financial industry and is an accomplished author. He is one of the only two remaining and the longest standing survivor of the Federal Medial Cannabis Program. Mr. Rosenfeld has appeared on dozens of television news programs and in the print media. Rosenfeld is known as one of the leading medical marijuana advocates in the Country.
